Versace for HM

I wonder if the new prices ( a $299 leather jacket, a $249 dress, a $149 romper...) will go over well for Versace and HM. HM cheap fashion rep. may be tarnished by the high prices and the more runway look. Tell me what you think about this, I'll be sure to keep an eye on http://www.hm.com/ and see the full Versace for HM line coming out in mid-November. Here is a pic of some of the ads. I notice:

2. not the normal "HM girl" image

3. so. many. embelleshments

-fringe

-studs

-bright colors

-everything is very similar (patterns of studs, silhouettes...)

I found a cute (and inexpesive) skirt that follows the ikat/tribal print trend. It is currently on sale for $19.99 from $24.00 on http://www.macys.com/. It is from the Material Girl line, exclusively for Macys.

Also, I was reading through Teen Vogue and I found this cool nail polish. I'm not sure how well this works, but it was magnetic, so after you painted your nails you could create a ripple effect with the nail polish. Maybe this will be the new trend as the crackle nail polish fad dies down.
